We're part of the KK Wagh Education Society — a family of 30+ institutions that has been shaping young minds since 1970. Over 55 years, we've grown from a single school in Nashik to one of Maharashtra's most trusted names in education, with more than 20,000 students across our campuses. KK Wagh Cubs is our newest chapter — bringing that same depth of commitment to early years for the very first time in Navi Mumbai.

Kharghar is one of Navi Mumbai's most thoughtfully planned neighbourhoods — with young, aspirational families who care deeply about where their child begins. We felt it was exactly the right place to bring our philosophy ......to life. We're not opening a franchise. This is a school built with intention.

Each stage builds on the last: Tiny Cubs (2–3 yrs) focuses onWe welcome children at every stage of early childhood: • Day Care: 3 months – 2 years (flexible hours) • Playgroup: 2 – 3 years (approx. 2 hours) • Nursery: 3 – 4 years (approx. 3 hours) • Junior KG: 4 – 5 years (approx. 3 hours) • Senior KG: 5 – 6 years (approx. 3 hours) If you're not sure which programme fits your child best, we'd love to have a conversation — age is just one part of the picture.

We'd love to start with a short conversation — either a visit to our Admissions Office or a call or WhatsApp message. From there, our team will walk you through everything gently: the programme that suits your child, the documentation needed, and next steps. There's no rush and no pressure — we want you to feel completely at ease before anything is formalised.

We offer a few convenient payment options — bank transfer, cheque, and major digital modes including UPI. A clear fee schedule, along with any instalment options available, will be shared with you before admission is confirmed, so there are no surprises.

The registration fee, once paid, is non-refundable as it secures your child's place. Tuition fee refund terms follow the school's formal policy, which will be clearly explained in your admission agreement before you sign anything. We believe in full transparency on this.

For most admissions, you'll need: • Your child's birth certificate • A recent passport-size photograph • Vaccination records • Parent ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, or Voter ID) and address proof • Previous school records, if applicable If you're missing something, please don't worry — just let us know and we'll find a way forward.

Yes, we do have a uniform — and we think you'll love it. It's been designed with real care: inspired by Maharashtra's beautiful craft traditions, with Nagpur cotton, Warli-inspired detailing, and a colour palette that reflects the warmth of the Cubs world. Details are shared at the time of admission confirmation.

A child joining our Nursery programme should ideally be 3 years old at the time of admission. If your child's birthday falls close to the cut-off, do have a chat with us — we're always happy to discuss what's right for your child individually.

We don't interview — and we certainly don't assess families. What we do instead is invite you to a warm, informal 'Family Interaction Session.' It's really a conversation: a chance for us to understand your child, share what we believe, and see whether our approach feels right for your family. We look for a values-match, not a background check.

Our regular programme runs Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. For our Day Care families, we offer extended and flexible hours — we'll share the full schedule at the time of enrolment. If your family has particular timing needs, do speak to us — we'll do our best to accommodate.

Our academic year runs from April through March, with scheduled term breaks and public holidays as per the Maharashtra school calendar. A detailed calendar is shared with families at the start of the year so you can plan well in advance.

We observe all notified public holidays. We also celebrate festivals meaningfully — at Cubs, we see these as wonderful opportunities for children to discover their cultural roots. A full holiday list will be part of the school calendar shared with you.

We understand that life doesn't always follow a school calendar — illnesses, family occasions, travel. We simply ask that you let us know in advance when possible. Attendance guidelines will be shared formally during enrolment, but our approach is always practical and human.

Our centre is a caring, closely supervised environment with trained teachers, secure entry and pickup protocols, and age-appropriate spaces designed for close attention to every child throughout the day.

We do ask families to collect their children on time — it's part of the rhythm and security that young children thrive on. If you're running late occasionally, please inform us. A nominal supervision charge may apply for extended delays, and the details will be in your admission agreement.

Your child's safety is our first responsibility. We ask families to inform the school in advance if someone other than the usual parent or guardian is collecting — and that person will need to carry valid ID. We verify before releasing any child, every time. It's non-negotiable, and we make no apology for that.

Please do let us know — a quick message is all we need. Depending on the vaccine, some children may have a mild reaction in the day or two after. Our team will keep a gentle eye on your child and let you know if anything needs attention. We'd always rather know.

Yes, we do offer transport — with safe, child-appropriate vehicles, GPS tracking, and a female attendant on board at all times. Routes and availability will be confirmed closer to opening. If transport is important to your family, do flag it early.

Every child is beautifully different. For some, the Den feels like home from day one; for others, it takes a little longer — and both are perfectly natural. We typically expect the settling period to take one to two weeks, and our teachers are wonderfully experienced at supporting children through this with warmth and patience. We'll always keep you informed.

In the first few days, yes — we may ask you to collect your child a little earlier as we gently build up their time with us. This is a tried-and-tested approach that helps children transition with confidence rather than anxiety. We'll always let you know what to expect each day.

The most powerful things are often the simplest: talk about school with a light, positive tone; establish a calm morning routine; and practise short separations in familiar places. A much-loved comfort object from home is always welcome with us. Our team will share a short 'welcome guide' for families before your child's first day.

Yes — we encourage families to arrange a visit or a short interaction session before the term begins. It's a lovely way for your child to meet the teachers, explore the space, and begin to feel at home. Please speak to our admissions team to arrange one.

We ask that children with a fever or any contagious illness remain at home until they have fully recovered. This protects your child as much as it does others. Medical clearance from a doctor may be requested before a child returns after certain illnesses.

We follow a careful hygiene routine throughout the day — handwashing, regular sanitisation of surfaces and materials, and health screening at entry. Our illness policy is shared with all families, and we ask everyone to honour it — it only works when we all do our part.

The Den has been designed with your child's safety at every turn: secure entry and exit, CCTV across all areas, trained staff with child safety protocols, and regular emergency preparedness drills. Only authorised individuals are permitted beyond the reception. You will always know your Cub is in safe hands.

All our staff are trained in basic first aid, and we always have a first-aid qualified team member on site. We are also working to ensure clear medical escalation protocols are in place for any situation that needs professional attention.

Yes — rest is woven into our daily rhythm, especially for our younger Cubs. Children are not required to sleep, but quiet time is always available. For Day Care children, proper nap facilities are part of the programme.

We ask families to send healthy snacks and lunch from home — it keeps mealtimes familiar and comforting for young children. Detailed nutrition guidelines will be shared so you know exactly what works well. We'll let you know if hot meals or a canteen facility are introduced in future.

English is our primary language of instruction. We also introduce children to additional languages in age-appropriate, playful ways — building a foundation that serves them well in a multilingual world.

Absolutely — and at Cubs, we don't think of them as 'extra.' Music, movement, art exploration, sensory play, storytelling, and thematic experiences are all woven into the weekly programme. They are part of learning, not a reward for it.

We believe parents are essential partners in every child's journey. You'll be invited to regular Parent–Teacher Conversations, and you'll receive periodic progress observations — written in plain, warm language, not report-card numbers. For younger children, our staff will also share informal updates at pick-up. You will always know how your Cub is growing.

It's one of the most common things we hear — and we understand the instinct. But research into early childhood development is quite clear: for children under 6, quality of experience matters far more than duration. Every minute of our programme is purposefully designed. We prioritise what brain scientists call 'Serve and Return' interactions — the back-and-forth between a child and a caring adult that builds the architecture of the developing brain. Three hours of that is worth far more than six hours of passive sitting.
